Seeking the Spirit of the Highlands: What is the Highlands? What makes this place special? Does it have a spirit? What is the Spirit of the Highlands and how on earth do you explain it in a six minute long script? In 2024 Gaelic writer and broadcaster Calum L MacLeòid was asked to write some of the scripts for the new Inverness Castle Experience. So he went searching for the answers to these questions.
