C. E. McGill - Our Hideous Progeny

C. E. McGill is a writer of historical fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, and — ideally — all three at once. Their debut novel, a spin-off of Mary Shelley’s  Frankenstein entitled Our Hideous Progeny, has been shortlisted for the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction and the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction. McGill’s other writing has appeared in Publishers Weekly, Electric Literature, Writer’s Digest, Literary Hub, and Fantasy Magazine, among others. Born in Scotland and raised in North Carolina, they now live back near Edinburgh with their family, two cats, and a growing number of fake succulents (the real ones keep dying).
