Anna Zaluczkowska - Try your hand at Screenwriting

A short 3 hour fun workshop for anyone who is interested in starting to write for the screen. You will look at some short films to see what makes them enjoyable. You will then undertake exercises to help build your confidence in this form of writing. Finally you will build a short premise that will form the basis of an idea you can develop after the course is over. You will learn the key concepts of creating characters, putting them into action and building a story. No experience is necessary and complete beginners are welcome.

The course will be taught by Anna Zaluczkowska who teaches screenwriting at the Northern Film School. Anna is an award-winning writer/filmmaker for film and new media projects. She will be happy to give you hints and tips whether you just want to write for fun or have ambitions to write for the screen.
