Tim Honnor founded Piccolo Press in Nairn some forty years ago. He has been editor of the British Printing Society Magazine, a Trustee of the Scottish Print Archival Trust, and a member of the British Historical Printing Society. He is passionate about the legacy of printing, developed by Gutenberg in the thirteenth century, that has since shaped our modern world. His talk will be a fascinating journey over five centuries of printing, until today when the computer has usurped the skills that enabled us to gain knowledge through the written word.
