At the heart of the story is Winston Khan, a young tiger searching for where he belongs. Created by Scottish marionette artists Symon Macintyre and Kim Bergsagel, The Circus of Dreams celebrates the endangered craft of traditional marionette theatre by bringing the extraordinary world of string puppets to new audiences. Nothing is quite what it seems. Part performance, part installation, and part living theatre heritage, this unique experience is performed for small audiences inside a solar-powered mobile venue designed especially for rural and festival touring.
