Alina Ben Larbi - A Living Archive of Belonging

A one-woman verbatim performance about loneliness and belonging retelling the true stories of real people in Nairn. After holding intimate interviews with locals and condensing their word-for-word responses into monologues, Alina is now bringing people’s first-hand experiences of loneliness and belonging to a stage, tied together by her personal story of engaging with people and place. This show is a vulnerable deep-dive into our community’s true thoughts and feelings on isolation and connection.

Alina Ben Larbi is a socially engaged performance artist and PhD student with a passion for using art to forge intimate emotional connections.
