Join us for our Finale Day – a fun, family friendly day celebrating nature, creativity and just some of Nairn’s amazing green spaces.
The day starts with our Beasties and Butterflies Ball – come dressed up, or arrive early at 10.30am to pick up and decorate some wings! Meet at the Links Car Park. The parade will be led by environmental artist Gordon Maclellan, a stilt walker, and ‘Guarana Street Band’. We will also be joined by Nairn’s own samba group, The Penguin’s Tuxedo. All welcome! The parade ends at Viewfield Park, where there will be creative activities and some fun outdoor cookery for families with Nature 4 Health until 2.00pm. Various environmental groups will have stalls and activities in the Putting Green area, including Green Hive, the Butterfly Conservation Trust, the WDC Scottish Dolphin Centre, and more...
