Victoria Taylor

NBAF Trustees Committee

After studying music at university, Victoria worked at English National Opera before becoming Publicist for the BBC Proms and BBC Radio 3. At the BBC she also led campaigns for BBC Arts television and spent time working at BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 Music. She moved to Scotland to work for Edinburgh International Festival before becoming a freelance communications consultant specialising in classical music working with artists, ensembles and organisations including Scottish Opera, Pianodrome, Red Note Ensemble, East Neuk Festival, Association of British Orchestras and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

She has most recently worked with RDMR as Head of Press promoting City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Aurora Orchestra, Jess Gillam, Royal Philharmonic Society and Manchester Collective. As a new member of the committee she hopes to work with the festival to help communicate the amazing power of the arts, and in particular music, to inspire, engage and bring people together. She also enjoys reading, playing and teaching the piano, early morning swims in the sea, discovering the wonders of Nairnshire, and spending time with her one-year-old daughter.
