Katrin Mäurich

Originally from Berlin, Katrin studied Fine Art at Reading University before spending over a decade participating in and organising exhibitions and arts events in London and internationally. A few years ago she made one of the best decisions of her life, moved to a cottage near Nairn and converted the outbuilding into a painting studio.

In her parallel career, Katrin is a seasoned and well-travelled data protection and information risk management professional, with expertise in project management, process design, international standards, audit, and compliance.

As an NBAF committee member, she is delighted to contribute her artistic, organisational, and technical expertise - together with her enduring curiosity and enthusiasm for nature, painting, literature, theatre, and music - to help create those fun, moving, inspirational, and often truly magical festival moments.
