Anna-Wendy Stevenson

Originally from Edinburgh, I’m a musician and composer whose love of traditional Scottish music has taken me across the world — performing, recording, and teaching in settings both formal and informal. For over 20 years I have helped shape tertiary music education for the University of the Highlands and Islands including developing and leading the award-winning BA (Hons) Applied Music. My music recently featured in Beatrix Woods’ acclaimed film Tim Stead: Magician with Wood. I recently moved to Nairnshire and am delighted to join the festival committee and help celebrate creativity in all its forms.
