An author, Sean is currently working on his second novel. His debut, ‘The Second Sight of Zachary Cloudesley’ (Doubleday, 2022) was shortlisted for Scotland’s National Book awards (the Saltire prize) and longlisted for the Walter Scott Prize.

Sean recently moved to Morayshire and is also a Trustee of Nairn’s environmental charity Green Hive.

He formerly worked in the Civil Service and as a policy advisor.
