It is with great sadness that we share the recent passing of Marion McOwan. Marion was a longstanding Director of the Festival (2018–2021) and a stalwart Committee member for well over a decade.

A devoted member of the Nairn community, Marion could be found at the festival desk every day, hanging artwork in shops, distributing programmes across the Highlands (until the age of 87!), and was an ardent fundraiser for the Festival. 

Our thoughts are with Marion's family. We, along with many in the Nairnshire community, will miss Marion dearly.
