Michael Morrison

Mike grew up on Fleenasmore Farm in Nairnshire and was educated in Nairn Academy. It was this early experience that encouraged him into further education at Robert Gordon University Business School and a long career in business management consultancy and project management leadership.

An MBA led to many interesting UK and International assignments living and working in London, Aberdeen, Dubai, Africa and Europe. During this period he was chairperson of Peacock Visual Arts (Aberdeen) for 10 years.

His cultural interests are varied and include wide reading about people, places, history along with enjoying art and music of all varieties.

Completing over 50 years of work experience he retired to Nairn to enjoy even more travel, family life, gardening and dog walking in our occasionally better climate.

His ambition is to support the continued success of the NBAF and ensure we all have a good time developing projects and programs so that all people can enjoy a very special festival in Nairn.
